IACET authorized, our immersive modules achieve higher comprehension and retention rates over other programs by incorporating the use of virtual reality to simulate real-world scenarios. For over a decade, we have been an industry leader in occupational safety. Whether in our classrooms or onsite with clients, our safety and risk management courses are instructor-led and VR-enhanced. Continuing education credits are available for all courses.
These courses are for construction professionals who are working on multiple trade sites that are required to follow OSHA regulations. OSHA courses identify and review construction safety requirements mandated by OSHA for Employers and Employees.
These courses are based on Local Law 196 and are for construction professionals working on sites in and around NYC. NextWave Safety offers all required SST courses and most SST electives in-person and online, including bundled SST programs for workers and supervisors.
SCAFFOLD SAFETY COURSES
These courses are for construction professionals tasked with installing, removing, and working on supported and/or suspended scaffolds. NextWave Safety’s approved scaffold training includes the 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User & Refresher course, as well as more advanced scaffold safety training for workers and supervisors.
DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING COURSES
These courses target construction professionals working on Construction sites in NYC. DOB courses review DOB safety requirements as promulgated by Building Code Chapter 33.
CRANE & DERRICK COURSES
Our cranes and derrick courses include training for a mast climber user and operator, a rigging worker and supervisor, a master rigger, a climber/tower rigger crane, and a hoisting machine operator. All courses tackle NYC DOB policies and regulations, as well as industry best practices.
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TRAINING
This area of training includes Flagger and Certified Signal Man courses for anyone seeking these certifications. Courses will introduce students to federal and state policies, procedures, and standards while covering work zone safety principles and the proper signals and safe flagging techniques needed on the jobsite.
