Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between an OSHA card and an SST card?
OSHA cards are issued by authorized Outreach Training Centers. SST (Site Safety Training) cards are New York City DOB requirements and are issued by approved training providers like us.
I lost my OSHA 30 card. Can you replace it?
No, we do not issue OSHA cards. You’ll need to contact the original Outreach Training Center where you took the course.
Do you offer OSHA 30 training?
Yes! We offer OSHA 30 training through our E-Learning platform (English & Spanish) for $180. It is self-paced and must be completed on a computer (7 hours max per day). Payment is required in full to begin.
I want to do OSHA 30 with an instructor. Can I?
Yes, we offer instructor-led OSHA 30 courses. However, these are scheduled based on demand. To organize a class, we require at least 6 participants and a lead time of approximately 10 days to arrange an instructor and set up the course. If you’re interested, please contact us to express your interest, and we’ll notify you when a class is being formed.
Do OSHA cards expire?
No — OSHA cards don’t expire. However, employers may require retraining. If your OSHA card is over 5 years old, you may need to retake it or complete refresher courses for SST compliance.
My SST card expired. What now?
If your SST card has expired, it cannot be renewed through refresher courses. You must retake all the initial training required for a new SST card. Refer to the FAQ on how to obtain a 40-Hour SST card.

To obtain the 40-Hour Site Safety Training (SST) card, you have multiple options:

You’ll need to take the following classes:

How long is my SST card valid?
SST cards are valid for 5 years from the issue date.
My SST card is valid, but my certificates show up expired. What do I do?
As long as the expiration date on your SST card is current, you are considered compliant by the NYC Department of Buildings and eligible to work on job sites. The individual course certificates may show earlier expiration dates, but the validity of your SST card takes priority.

The physical card is valid for 10 years. Each course stored in the card is valid for 3–4 years, depending on the course.

Yes, and we must verify the authenticity of all your certificates to avoid accepting fraudulent documents.
