FDNY TRAINING

Construction Site Fire Safety Manager (S-56)

The S-56 Certificate of Fitness is required where a Site Safety Manager or Site Safety Coordinator is required by the Building Code for a construction site. The Construction Site Fire Safety Manager (CSFSM) shall conduct an inspection of the construction site and all fire safety measures on at least a daily basis, and maintain a record when construction, demolition and alteration work is being conducted.   $200*

This course introduces students to the New York City Fire Code and Fire Department Rules, including their organization and terminology, along with Fire Code construction site provisions and all construction site fire safety requirements. Topics covered will include fire safety plans, inspections and record keeping, training on fire extinguishers, testing fire protection equipment, hot work requirements and industry best practices based on other regulatory requirements like the Building Code and OSHA.

FIRST AID TRAINING

American Heart Association First Aid, CPR with AED

This course includes the procedures for CPR and choking, heart attacks, strokes, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) introduction, as well as topics such as bleeding, shock, fainting, poisoning, epilepsy, diabetic emergencies, allergic reactions, burn accidents, heat and cold emergencies, head and neck injuries, and musculoskeletal injuries.
