OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety & Health

This 10-Hour OSHA Outreach training is designed to promote workplace safety and health in the construction industry and to make workers more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights. Emphasis is placed on the role of the construction worker in hazard recognition and avoidance, workers’ rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint.
Course participants can expect to be able to locate and identify OSHA standards in 29 CFR 1926; identify common causes of accidents and fatalities in hazardous areas of construction; recommend abatement techniques for such hazards; and recognize various construction processes, materials and equipment.
This course can be completed in person or as a live web-based course.
Day 1: February 23, 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Day 2: February 24, 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
