16-Hour Rigging Supervisor Refresher

This NYC DOB-approved 16-hour refresher course is required for individuals maintaining their designation to supervise the hoisting or lowering of articles on the outside of a building with hoisting equipment. It is also a prerequisite for Master Rigger license renewal.

Important: This refresher is only valid if completed within 4 years of your last initial or refresher course. If more than 1 year has passed since your certification expired, you must retake the full 32-Hour Rigging Supervisor initial course — not this refresher. If you are unsure which applies to you, contact us before registering.

Who This Course Is For

  • Rigging supervisors renewing their designation under NYC Building Code §3316.9.2
  • Master Rigger license holders renewing their license (this course is one of two required renewal components, along with an 8-hour lift director refresher)
  • Individuals whose rigging supervisor certification expired within the past year
