PLEASE NOTE: This course will be held over 6 separate days.

  • Day 1: Monday March 22nd. 4:00pm – 10:00pm

  • Day 3: Wednesday March 24th 20th. 5:00pm – 9:00pm
  • Day 4: Thursday March 25th 5:00pm – 9:00pm

Local Law 196 of 2017 requires that Construction Superintendent, Site Safety Coordinator, or Site Safety Manager must have a total of 62 hours of training.

This bundled offering fulfills 32 Hours of that training and includes:


8 Hour Chapter 33/ Site Safety Manager Refresher

This course focuses on a comprehensive approach to the management of a construction site and discusses the NYC DOB Building Codes set forth in Chapter 33. The main objective of this course is to emphasize the importance of safety and protection of the public and workers on and around a jobsite. Our knowledgeable instructors, who are licensed Site Safety Managers, will discuss revisions to the Building Codes, necessary actions to perform to ensure public safety, accident prevention, importance of maintaining logbooks, examines the roles of Site Safety Manager, Coordinator and a Superintendent and much more.

2 Hour Drug and Alcohol Awareness / 8 Hour Fall Prevention:

According to the National Survey on Drug Use and Heath, the construction industry has the highest of workplace drug use. Substance abuse is a factor in 35 percent injuries and fatalities, 35 percent of all substances, 38 percent to 50 percent of all worker’s compensation claims, and 40 percent of thefts. Substance abuse is increasing those risks which affect overall job safety and work efficiency. Substance abuse includes, but not limited to the use of marijuana, heroin, ecstasy, methamphetamine, cocaine, opiates, amphetamine and high amounts of alcohol. The program’s goal is to address substance and alcohol abuse and particularly focuses on educating workers on safety and productivity hazards created by the abuse of alcohol and other drugs in the workplace.

This 8-hour course is intended to educate workers on how to avoid accidents and injuries while working on roofs, leading edges, ladders or scaffolds by defining the regulations and safety rules associated with fall hazards on construction sites. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to identify and avoid hazards associated with elevated work locations.The training will also cover topics such as guardrail system installation, use of safety nets, donning and doffing of personal fall arrest systems, ladders and scaffold safety, and falling object protection requirements under OSHA and DOB regulations.

4 Hour Support Scaffold:

The NYC 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User Safety Training course complies with the training requirements of the New York City Department of Buildings Local Law. This course is required for anyone who will use or work on supported scaffolds of any height. In this course, students will learn how to properly erect and load scaffolds, prevent fall and electrical hazards, Chapter 33 building regulations, ladder safety, how to properly wear a full body harness and much more. In addition, anyone who uses a supported scaffold is required to have a supported scaffold user certificate.

6 Hour Supervisor Bundle:

In order to continue to operate in NYC, the designated construction worker is required to complete a minimum number of hours of approved Site Safety training and to carry Site Safety identification cards as proof of completion of the training (as per New York City Local Law 196 of 2017 also known as ‘LL196’ or ‘Local Law’).

This bundle offers three NYC Department of Buildings- Approved Site Safety Training (SST) mandatory courses- 2 Hr. Site Safety Plan, 2  Hr. Pre-Task Meeting, 2 HR. ToolBox Talks.

4 Hour General/Specialized Electives:

This bundle offers four NYC Department of Buildings- Approved Site Safety Training (SST) courses including 2 hours of General & 2 hours of Specialized electives training that can be applied towards the requirements of an SST or Supervisor SST Card.
